Global recognition: Kastoria International Fur Fair Approved as a UFI International Event

The Kastoria Fur Association “The Prophet Elias” is now a full member of the UFI Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, as the most widely acclaimed exhibition certification body has approved the Association’s application as “Exhibition Organizers”.

The first day of the 42^nd Fur Fair of Kastoria drew to a close in the most impressive way possible. The venue of the truly pioneering open GALA Fashion Show was Doltso Square, where fashion, beauty and the glamor of fur starred against the beautiful backdrop of Kastoria’s 17^th- and 18^th-century mansions.

Hailed as one of the most successful in the history of the organization, the 42nd KASTORIA International Fur Fair was held at the International Exhibition Center of Kastoria from May 4-7. Of the 115 exhibitors, representing leading companies in the field, 80% were Greek and 20% were from other countries (Italy, Turkey, Finland and Serbia), filling the 13,000m2 (140,000 ft.) exhibition space. Taking place in the largest center for fur production in the Western world, the Kastoria International Fur Fair included products ranging from coats and garment to shoes and accessories.

Fluffy is the trademark of the 42nd KASTORIA International Fur Fair (May 4-7).

Fluffy, a 3d furry character, is the main character at the original tv spot of the 42nd KASTORIA International Fur Fair.

2nd Workshop for Young Designers

With the participation of more than 30 students attending Fashion Schools, the 2^nd Workshop for Young Designers will take place during the 42^nd KASTORIA International Fur Fair.

Fashion Schools & Fashion Bloggers in an open Workshop

The Kastorian Fur Association as part of the 42nd Kastoria International Fur Fair, which will take place from the 4th until the 7th of May 2017, invites graduate students of Fashion Schools & Fashion Bloggers in an open Workshop (that will be held in a specially designed area) during the days of the Fair, so that students could become familiar with the art of fur, get informed and implement any ideas, connecting this way education with the production processing.

New era for KASTORIA International Fur Fair: The Kastorian Fur Association and TIF-Helexpo join their forces

On 19-12-2016 in the offices of the Kastorian Fur Association, in the International Exhibition Center of Kastoria (IECK), with the presence of many journalists, the Pact of Cooperation was signed between the Kastorian Fur Association and the National Exhibition Agency TIF HELEXPO.
