The closing of the first day of the 44th KASTORIA International Fur Fair was nothing short of spectacular. Visitors were able to marvel at the top creations of 11 fur-making businesses presented against a fairy tale backdrop in the indoor gym of the Kastoria Municipal Stadium, rivaling top designer catwalk shows abroad.
Once again the KASTORIA International Fur Fair is expected to be the arena for significant trade deals this year. Its gates open from 2 to 5 May, 2019, bringing together most of the largest fur-making firms in Greece and abroad.
Eleven of the leading fur-making companies of West Macedonia showcased their top creations in a glamorous Gala Fashion Show that kicked off the 43rd KASTORIA International Fur Fair.
An 18% surge in the number of visitors as against last year was the impressive outcome of the 43rd KASTORIA International Fur Fair. A total of 1339 fashion buyers from 43 countries flocked to this year’s event.
We would like to inform you that due to the bad weather forecasted for Thursday, 3 May, 2018, the Fashion Gala for the 43rd International Fur Fair of Kastoria will be transferred to the LIMNEON HOTEL in the KYKNOS Hall of the GOLDEN building. The hotel is located at 4th kilometer on the Kastoria-Athens National Road.
Against the backdrop of the Old City, the narrow cobblestone streets, and distinctive stone houses, where the art of Kastorian fur-making began and developed, the 43rd International Fur Fair of Kastoria (3-6 May, 2018) is about to begin at the International Fur Center of Kastoria.

The Kastoria Fur Association “The Prophet Elias” is now a full member of the UFI Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, as the most widely acclaimed exhibition certification body has approved the Association’s application as “Exhibition Organizers”.
The first day of the 42nd Fur Fair of Kastoria drew to a close in the most impressive way possible. The venue of the truly pioneering open GALA Fashion Show was Doltso Square, where fashion, beauty and the glamor of fur starred against the beautiful backdrop of Kastoria’s 17th- and 18th-century mansions.
